I never liked Song of Songs. I thought it too erotic, and that was part of my dislike. However, as I read this I realized it was a small part. Your words brought tears, sobs, as I realized the personal truth of your words to me. I especially have to this day hated, yes, hated the words, "Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth"! I have felt guilty for this knowing it is the kisses of Jesus that is being spoken of, and I don't hate Our Lord! Indeed I long for more and more of Him. Now I know why I I can't stand that verse! I think more freedom and healing is coming my way now!!!

Our Beloved Bridegroom truly does remove the scales from our eyes and helps our heart heal and warm to the truth and depth of His love, when we ask for His healing graces. I pray for your complete healing and restoration, Kathleen! In Song of Songs 2:10-14 Jesus sings to us, calls to us, yearns for us. This song is for you!

"'Come then, my love,

my lovely one, come.

For see, winter is past,

the rains are over and gone.

The flowers appear on the earth.

The season of glad songs has come,

the cooing of the turtledove is heard

in our land.

The fig tree is forming its first figs

and the blossoming vines give out their fragrance.

Come then, my love,

my lovely one, come.

My dove, hiding in the clefts of the rock,

in the coverts of the cliff,

show me your face,

let me hear your voice;

for your voice is sweet

and your face is beautiful.'"

What I know for certain is that Our Lord puts people in my path to learn from…exactly like you😀 To be honest I really have no idea how you arrived here..though I’m constantly being asked to read or click this or that.

I’m beginning to see the Truth that it is God alone that can “Create in me a pure heart oh God and renew in me a steadfast spirit”

What I’m hoping for is that this pure heart will no longer be triggered..ha..but I guess if it’s pure ..it’s pure..and cannot be triggered!

Ha. Hmm.

Thanks for being out there so you can come into my space without me even knowing😀

God is so good ❤️

Tracey, praise our Lord for His great blessings, and for always providing us what we need, when we need it! He can and does heal all things, when we ask--He truly makes all things new! (Rev. 21:5). May God bless you!
